Change the Royal Nightwatch Cape [Grade A] +15 Refine Bonus back to +14 to Match all other Capes

I did thorough testing of the equipment hoping the "+15" requirement was just a description error. However, after upgrading the Royal Nightwatch Cape to +12, +13, then +14 and testing it at each refinement level, I did not get the +40% Long Range Damage Bonus at +14. I have also sent a ticket and sadly, the GM that responded to my ticket stated that the +15 refine requirement is a feature and intended, which is completely UNFAIR for several reasons. See screenshots and my argument points below:

1. I would like to ask, who even designed this and why was this approved? The request for this was made by another player not long ago, but they completely changed the skills it is supposed to buff. It should not be called a Nightwatch Cape if it buffs Rebellion Class Skills that Night Watches don’t use at the end game.

 

2. Why is the Royal Nightwatch Cape [Grade A] Refinement Bonus is set to +15, when ALL OTHER Royal "City" Capes have their [GRADE A] refinement bonuses at +14? Even the [Grade D] and [Grade B] bonuses of the cape are nerfed. Look at the comparison below.

 

  • Royal Prontera Cape: [Grade D] ATK +100, [Grade B] P.ATK +20, [Grade A] Refine Bonus = +14
  • Royal Payon Cape: [Grade D] ATK +100, [Grade B] P.ATK +20, [Grade A] Refine Bonus = +14
  • Royal Geffen Cape: [Grade D] MATK +100, [Grade B] S.MATK +20, [Grade A] Refine Bonus = +14
  • Royal Alberta Cape: [Grade D] ATK +100, [Grade B] P.ATK +20, [Grade A] Refine Bonus = +14
  • Royal Nightwatch Cape: [Grade D] ATK +50??, [Grade B] P.ATK +10??, [Grade A] Refine Bonus = +15??

 

3. These iRO Capes are Level 2 Armors. There is NO SAFE or GUARANTEED Method of upgrading Level 2 Armors past +14. Blacksmith Blessings (BSB’s) only work up to +14. Attempting to refine any Level 2 Armor To +15 has an 85%-90% CHANCE OF BREAKING, depending if there is a refine rate boost event or not. Nobody in the right mind will risk that on expensive, cash shop equipment.

 

4. Why is the Royal Nightwatch Cape the ONLY Level 2 Armor in game, whether it be an iRO custom or from other servers, to have a Refine Bonus requirement of +15, when ALL OTHER Level 2 Armor bonuses typically cap at +14?

 

 

So, with all that said, Please change/fix the [GRADE A] Refine Bonus requirement of the Royal Nightwatch Cape back to +14 so that it MATCHES ALL OTHER Capes currently in the game.

 

If it is not possible to change the requirement, you should give an explanation. You keep buffing certain classes (Particularly Elemental Master and Biolo), but nerf this item for a class that very few players play as their main. It would then be obvious that this absurd change to the item is a targeted case against the class, and perhaps to even a certain player. The disfavor against Night Watches will be made very apparent, UNLESS you change ALL THE OTHER CAPE refine requirements to +15, and/or Add this requirement future Level 2 Armors as well.

 

If +15 Level 2 Armors is the new trend moving forward, you should make an iRO custom for safe refining. The best solution is to make BSB’s work up to +15. You guys like money right? Then this will probably make you more money.
